About this camera
Introduced in 2012, the Sony A37 is an entry-level DSLR built around an APS-C sensor. Lenses fit the Sony A-mount, and the camera uses a fixed translucent mirror and an electronic viewfinder, with a 16.1MP sensor. Within Sony's lineup it targets newcomers, and as a 2012-era design it is now mostly a used-market option.
