About this camera
The Sony A500 is an enthusiast-oriented DSLR with an APS-C sensor, introduced in 2009. It has a tilting screen and in-body stabilization, and uses the Sony A-mount with a 12.3MP sensor. Within Sony's lineup it targets serious hobbyists, and as a 2009-era design it is now mostly a used-market option.
