About this camera
Introduced in 2012, the Canon EOS Rebel T4i is an entry-level DSLR built around an APS-C sensor. It has a touchscreen and is known elsewhere as the EOS 650D, and uses the Canon EF-S mount with a 18MP sensor. Within Canon's lineup it targets newcomers, and as a 2012-era design it is now mostly a used-market option.
