About this camera
Introduced in 2007, the Nikon D300 is a professional-grade DSLR built around a DX-format (APS-C) sensor. Lenses fit the Nikon F-mount, and the camera is a weather-sealed DX body with a 51-point AF system, with a 12.3MP sensor. It is aimed at professional users, and as a 2007-era design it is now mostly a used-market option.
