Frequently asked questions
Does the Nikkor Z 24-70mm f/4 S retract?
Yes. The barrel collapses for transport and must be extended before shooting.
Does the Nikkor Z 24-70mm f/4 S have VR?
No. Z cameras with in-body stabilization compensate. For handheld shooting at lower shutter speeds, an IBIS body helps.
Z 24-70mm f/4 S vs Z 24-70mm f/2.8 S: which should I buy?
The f/4 is much smaller and lighter. The f/2.8 is brighter and has a more rugged pro build.
