Frequently asked questions
Is the Minolta 28-75mm f/2.8 (D) the same as the Tamron?
Optically it is the Tamron SP 28-75mm f/2.8 design, rebadged for Minolta.
What filter size does it use?
The filter thread is 67mm, so standard 67mm polarizers and ND filters screw straight onto the front.
Does it have image stabilization?
No. Sony A-mount bodies stabilize the sensor, so shake reduction depends on the camera.
